Job Description

GemPool's client have an innovative cloud business application powered by machine learning, built on top of modern technology stacks.They are looking for someone to create robust, highly-available, user-friendly applications in a timely manner on a proven architecture that serves users in real time. 

Our client is Centrally located in the heart of Dublin 2, close to great transport, restaurants, Pubs and other amenities. They want to hire a Frontend developer who loves to face new challenges in complex UX/UI and creating FrontEnd solutions by using best of breed technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create high-end JavaScript web and mobile applications (iOS, Android)
  • Establish Frontend development process (unit-testing, integration& cross-browser testing, build process)
  • Frontend development via React, React Native, Redux, Functional programming, ES.Next
  • Integration with backend REST APIs, Apollo GraphQL
  • Work with UX person and develop interfaces based on mockups and prototypes
  • Make available for use the cutting edge technologies required for the platform (e.g. document search, stream analytics and machine learning etc.)
  • Provide estimations and follow the implementation schedule as a member of agile team
  • Implement complex features by taking on different responsibilities

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Deep knowledge of OOP, design patterns and elements of functional programming
  • 5+ years experience in software development
  • Solid Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React is desired), Angular 7, React Native
  • Solid experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3

RECOMMENDED

  • Understanding of GraphQL
  • Native development experience for mobile platforms
  • Some experience with ASP .NET C#, .NET Core, Web API, AWS, Event Driven Architecture, PostgreSQL, Docker or Kubernetes
